A group of failed clowns embarks on a chaotic road trip with a stiff corpse in their clown car after a mysterious technical blackout plunges Ireland into anarchy and chaos. Jenny, a journalist obsessed with conspiracy theories, is determined to broadcast "the truth" to the world. The Great Alphonso, a pompous former TV clown celebrity, sees this as his chance to revive his career and reclaim the fame he so desperately craves, while Bobo, Pepe, and Funzo are frantically trying to escape the wrath of some vengeful human statues. This clown flick has little to do with Stephen King; instead, Apocalypse Clown leans into anarchistic and absurd humor reminiscent of the TV series Bottom. Named Best Irish Film of the Year at the Galway Film Fleadh, Apocalypse Clown promises a hilariously unhinged ride.
